We had xmas in Taupo with all of my dad's family, 24 in his family, so I got to meet lots of cousins and aunty and uncles. It was an amazing holiday, here are a couple of pictures, this one is me having lunch in the sun with my cousins Chloe, Bianca and Mikaela.

Happy New Year

Well it is 2006 and i have yet to leave the house, we are still in Sydney and the year has started with a hiss and a roar, today was the 2nd hottest day ever recorded in Sydney, the last time the temp got this high was 67 years ago. MATE it was hot. Needless to say I am hot and bothered and not sleeping and it really feels like the world is going to end but I have been assured the temp will drop tonight.

I thought I would show a few holiday snaps, it was grandads birthday on the 30th so we headed off to Circular Quay for lunch before ma and pa left me for a wedding. I was very well behaved in my parents absence, in fact had a mighty old time with my aunties, uncle BJ, Solfred and Maddy.

A few early chrissie pressies, got to love first xmas. Although they were a bit mean, the BIG box was actually for my dad, but I got a great book from my great aunty Erin. Thanks Aunty E xx

EARLY XMAS PRESSIE this was fr5om nana and granddad o'malley, it is pretty cool and I think I am pretty clever that I can walk behind it already and with only one hand!!! 

I had to show you this photo as I am wearing a dress, Mum doesn't put me in a dress very often beacause my knees get caught. Dad was running me a bath so I am just about to get in. I love baths hence the smile :-)

Plunket Visit

Well yesterday I had my 8 month plunket visit, I was throwing a bit of a tantrum when she was weighing me so not sure how accurate my new crudentials are, but here they are

Weight: 8k6 (17lb10oz)
Height: 67.5cm
Head: 39.8cm (this is the worrying part as it would seem my head has got smaller since last time, no one seems too concerned though, and atleast no one can accuse me of having a BIG HEAD)

The plunket nurse also said I was doing very well, and was very very mobile for an 8 month old (he he he like to keep mum on her toes). The eating thing is getting sorted and I am not having too much breast milk anymore - like you can have too much of the good stuff anyway. All in all I think she was pretty pleased with me.

All I want for xmas is my two front teeth

Finally I have a tooth, I won’t let anyone see it yet but mum has run her fingers over my gum and it is very very sharp.  Everyone was beginning to wonder as I have been dribbling for 6 months now and have had very red cheeks recently. That explains why I have been a bit grumpy lately as well.  Watch out world I’ll be eating all the chops I can get my hands on, and hopefully I get some good turkey legs to gnaw on at xmas.  As soon as I open my mouth and show the world my new tooth, mum will post a photo.

Mum took this photo of me in the sun, I am really enjoying the summer and it is so nice not to have to wear so many clothes. Very difficult to get to sleep though. 

This is my friend Amy, she came to our house for a bbq, we both tried lamb chops for the first time ever. Yum, good old NZ bbq's you just can't beat them 

My cousin Maddy at my house. She came to stay for CITP. She is 3 and a half years old. 

Carols in the park

My Cousin Maddy and Aunty Doss came to christchurch and we all went to Carols in the Park, it was a great night and I slept better than I have in ages. Boz & Erin came with us too, we had an awesome picnic.

I had to have a shot of me and Granddad, he was trying to contain me but I am TOO strong for him now :-) 

We talk Nana & Granddad for a big walk and when we were finished I was sooo hot I needed a swim, I am getting quite brave, I actually sat down in the water. 

Another lunch date, dad was actually trying to feed me liver and bacon, just coz granddad had it doesn't mean I want it. 

We went to lunch at the wineshed, I was more interested in my pram, as usual. Food's not really my thing!!!

Nana & Granddad Came to VIsit

We have just had the coolest weekend with Nana and Granddad, they came up last Thursday and left yesterday (Monday) We went out for lunch most days so Granddad took lots of photo's, here are a couple.

Hanging out at the park today with my antenatal friends, I think mum was actually hoping I would go to sleep in the pram but I am one step ahead of her!

Day at the beach

I have had my first experience at the beach, it was sooooo hot last week that mum and I took Isla and Kate and their mums down to the beach for the afternoon, it was so much fun although I am the only one that tried the sand, not sure if I liked it that much but hey you never know unless you try.

Mum took me down to the sea and I splashed around a bit, it was very cold but quite refreshing. I have posted a couple of photo's, but mum didn't really get a chance to take too many as I was all over the place and really keeping her on her toes. I didn't want to get sunburnt so mum had quite a job to keep me in the shade!!!!
