Trip to Clapham Common

We took the 37 bus from our place to Clapham Common to catch up with Kare.

It was a very hot day, so hot in fact that I NEEDED an ice cream. It was a bit mean because mum didn't get one for Zara, so we had to share.

I found these awesome shoes (thanks Kare) and believe it or not I am actually very stable in heels.

Another succesful outing in Ole Blighty.....

Lunch in the sun

Zara and I had our first lunch outside in London, the weather here has been awesome

Goodbye Grandad

Zara and I are trying to get in to Grandads suitcase so he will take us with him, we didn't fit :-(
It was a very sad day, we had such a fantastic time with Grandad in London, and we wish him a safe journey home.
You can come back when ever you want, there is always room for you at our house
Goodbye Grandad, say hello to Nana!!!

2nd Birthday

Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me, happy birthday dear Katey, happy birthday to me, its my new favourite song and I even get dad to sing it to me at bed time now....

Zara's Easter Egg

Zara getting in to her First Easter Egg, mean old mum wouldn't take the wrapper off for her but she did her best to get in to it ... remembering that she has NO teeth :-)

you have to give her ten out of ten for trying though....

Sunday stroll through Wimbledon Common

We went to find the wombles, but it is such a big place we didn't find any. Here I am with Dad and Aunty Erin, it is a big slice of wilderness right in the middle of London.

We're here...... London

This is me and Zara with our new matching jackets that Grandad bought. He is in spain at the moment with Maddy and we are missing him lots. London has been awesome, a full on month or setting up home, sightseeing, catching up with aunties uncles and friends. Here are some cool pics, me reading the paper waiting for a train, me and grandad at covent garden and me smelling the spring flowers in the park (before the cold snap). We are up and running again now so watch this space, mum will be updating the blog regularly. We miss everyone in New Zealand, wish we weren't so far away. Lots of love, Katey and Zara.
